HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – An investigation is underway into a single-vehicle crash at an apartment building overnight Thursday in the McCully-Moiliili area.

The crash happened around midnight on Kapiolani Boulevard.

It appeared that a car plowed into concrete wall, past an underground driveway.

Crews on-scene told Hawaii news Now that the car ruptured a gas line in the crash.

The building and a neighboring building have been evacuated while repairs take place.

According to Honolulu Emergency Medical Services, the driver of the car did not need any help from first responders.

An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
