ITA Coaches Convention Information Page
TEMPE, AZ – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) is pleased to announce the dates and locations of the upcoming 2024 ITA Coaches Convention. Headed to Dallas, Texas from November 15-17, the ITA Coaches Convention will be hosted at the Styslinger/Altec Tennis Complex on the campus of SMU, a first-of-its-kind partnership between the ITA and one of its member institutions.
With a rich history dating back to 1985, the ITA Coaches Convention is one of the best professional development opportunities for collegiate tennis coaches across all levels of play. In 2024, the Convention aims to offer an innovative and inclusive environment for head and assistant coaches, being hosted in a central part of the country for easy travel.

Thanks to feedback from coaches in recent years, the ITA will continue to identify new locations and dates for the convention to help accommodate the many varying schedules and travel constraints of coaches. This approach allows coaches from different parts of the country to enjoy the convention who may have missed out on this experience in the past. This year, the convention will be hosted in November so that coaches can enjoy more time off with family and friends during the holiday season. These dates fall the weekend before the 2024 NCAA Division I Individual Championships in Waco, Texas. This scheduling aims to allow coaches an opportunity to network and develop professionally before taking the short drive to coach or watch the NCAA Division I Individual Championships.
Additionally, the condensed schedule, on-site access to courts, and access to airports and restaurants are a bonus for the 2024 ITA Coaches Convention. The host hotel will also be just steps away from the SMU campus making it very easy to attend for all coaches.
Registration and hotel information will be available in the coming months. A full list of speakers will also be made public closer to the event itself.
