FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Science Central is celebrating the start of spring with a special event on Saturday.

From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the organization will be hosting “It’s Spring: Let’s Talk Plants”, bringing a day of nature-themed activities to the Summit City.

Organization leaders say the event will feature presentations, demonstrations, and hands-on experiences centered around plants, providing a perfect experience for nature enthusiasts of all ages.

They add that seeds and plants will also be available for purchase, so that visitors can bring a piece of the event home with them.

There is no additional cost for the event, aside from general admission.
