Jacob Elordi’s first celebrity crush? Brad Pitt!
Elordi, 26, appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Monday and played a game with host Jimmy Fallon that involved the Priscilla star answering questions about various “first” moments in his life. When Fallon, 49, asked who Elordi’s first celebrity crush was, the actor caught the late night show host by surprise.
“Brad Pitt,” Elordi answered, to which Fallon replied: “You had a crush on Brad?”
“Yeah. I think in Troy,” Elordi said, referencing 59-year-old Pitt’s role as the mythological ancient Greek warrior Achilles in the 2004 epic war film Troy.
“That’s a beautiful man, there’s no denying it,” Elordi said of Pitt’s appearance in the movie.
Elordi’s other answers about notable “firsts” in his life involved seeing Eminem for Elordi’s first concert at 14, making coffee first thing in the morning and his childhood desire to be like famed skateboarder Tony Hawk.
Elordi appeared on The Tonight Show to promote his upcoming film Priscilla, in which he plays Elvis Presley. During his interview with Fallon — made possible by Priscilla‘s interim agreement with SAG-AFTRA amid the ongoing Hollywood actors strike — Elordi also admitted that the first Elvis song he ever heard was likely a song of his that appeared in the 2002 Disney animated film Lilo & Stitch.

When Fallon asked Elordi whether he grew up a fan of Elvis, the actor responded, “No. The most I knew of Elvis was in Lilo & Stitch … which is a lot, by the way.” The film features main character Lilo teaching the blue alien Stitch about Elvis and the movie’s soundtrack featured a number of songs by the rock and roll legend.
“[The first Elvis song I heard] would have been in Lilo & Stitch,” Elordi told Fallon later in his appearance.
Elordi joins Austin Butler on the shortlist of actors to play Elvis in recent years with Priscilla, which focuses on the rock icon’s relationship and marriage to Priscilla Presley, portrayed by Cailee Spaeny, from 1959 to 1972.
The costars recently joked at a New York Film Festival press conference that they “were good study buddies” as they catalogued important moments in the Presleys’ relationship while preparing for the film.
“There is no gap in Cailee’s performance,” Elordi told reporters, when asked how the actors approached moments where significant time passes within moments in the movie. “I would go [on set] — and I’m fairly well prepared performer — and I would say, ‘What year is this?’ And she would pull out a script and she had every single thing catalogued to the year. So any in-between, Cailee would know exactly what had happened in those sort of suggestive blanks.”
Priscilla releases in theaters Nov. 3. Another upcoming movie starring Elordi, Saltburn, releases in select theaters Nov. 17 and is in theaters everywhere Nov. 22.
