Jamie Foxx Is Still Not ‘Having Any Visitors’ Following Hospitalization

Jamie Foxx may have come out of hiding after the medical emergency that sent him to the hospital two months ago, but he still isn’t having guests.

The 55-year-old actor from “Django Unchained” made his first public appearance on Sunday night, July 9, 2023. TMZ got a video of him on a yacht going down the Chicago River. Foxx seemed happy as he waved to a boat that was going by.

Even after the actor got out of the hospital, many of his famous friends, especially his They Cloned Tyrone co-star John Boyega, were worried because they couldn’t reach him.

People Magazine quotes a person who knows Foxx well as saying that he is “doing great” after his health scare two months ago.

“He is just taking it easy. He’s not really having any visitors or anything like that yet, but he’s doing really, really well,” the source told the outlet.

Corinne Foxx, the Oscar-winning actor’s oldest daughter, told fans about his health problem for the first time on April 12, 2023, when she said he had “a medical complication.”

She didn’t say what caused the health problem, but she did say, “Due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery.”

Foxx was in the middle of making his new Netflix movie, Back in Action, when he had a health scare.

But news came in that he was doing well and getting better. Foxx spoke up three weeks after he was taken to the hospital. The star of “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” thanked his friends and family for their love and well wishes.

Since his medical emergency was made public, Foxx’s friends and fans have been worried about his health and giving him their best wishes. Still, no one knows what the medical problem is.

Foxx is said to have been getting better at a clinic in Chicago that helps people heal from strokes, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and cancer.
