The famous singer Jason Derulo showed how much he cared about making his son’s birthday party a big deal by putting on a show.

In a recent interview on an Australian radio show, the 33-year-old musician, who is best known for his hit song “Savage Love,” talked about his son Jason King’s extravagant second birthday party.

When radio host Kyle Sandilands asked Derulo how much the expensive party cost, he said, “It was pretty big. It was probably around $30,000.”

In May, the singer gave his fans sneak peeks of his shark-themed birthday party on social media. A video of the amazing party was posted to Derulo’s Instagram. It showed a big bounce house, a full playground, and a ball pit with two slides.

Derulo joked that he was “building the playground with his own two hands,” but the camera quickly showed that two men were actually putting it together.

The singer said, “Let’s go see what he thinks!” as he showed how much his son loved the different attractions, like the swing chair, the bounce house, and, finally, the ball pit.

One of the best parts was a two-tiered cake with a Baby Shark theme that was shown heavily in the video. Family and friends sang “Happy Birthday” to the young birthday boy in a happy way in a touching scene.
