Jason Momoa Impresses in Guinness Ad, Hypes Up ‘Dune: Part Two’

Jason Momoa is having a moment! The actor has not only landed a dream job directing a new Guinness ad, but he is also praising the upcoming sequel, Dune: Part Two.

The commercial, which debuted on social media on Wednesday and will appear on TV spots the following week, begins with Momoa discovering that he is 2% Irish. The audience follows him as he sprints across town to a pub after leaving a sushi restaurant to kick off the festivities.

“My whole company is in it, we produced it, I co-directed it with my best friend and then I wrote it with another best friend. My mom’s in it. My kids aren’t of legal age, but if they were, I would’ve run past them or done some sort of action scene with them,” Momoa says of the family affair, which he co-directed and produced with his longtime creative collaborator, Brian Mendoza. “It abso-fucking-lutely is my dream job.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Momoa, a self-proclaimed Guinness fan, co-directed the new advertising campaign with his closest pal. The commercial, which debuted online this week with TV spots to follow, depicts Momoa discovering his newfound Irish roots (a fun discovery unearthed by a DNA test) and celebrating with a raucous pub run.

But that is not all. Momoa also mentioned that he has already seen Dune: Part Two twice and believes it is a masterpiece. “It’s a freaking masterpiece,” he excitedly told reporters. With fans already excited about the film, Momoa’s strong support is guaranteed to pique their interest even more.
