Jason Mraz, who was born and raised in San Diego, and his band, Superband, recently shared some great news that made the whole city excited.
A free event is coming up at the Rady Shell at Jacobs Park in San Diego at the end of this month.
But fans didn’t have much time to make plans because tickets went on sale at 11 a.m., so the line quickly filled up with thousands of fans.
On the booking website for the Rady Shell, there was a countdown clock for the much-anticipated launch.
People who joined the line before 11 a.m. were given places at random and had a chance to get up to four tickets to the event.
The demand was very high, and in just over an hour, all of the tickets were bought, making it a “sold out” event.
In a video message, the famous singer of “I’m Yours” said that he wanted to thank his hometown by giving a free show to the people of San Diego.
In order to show his appreciation, Jason Mraz is getting ready for a summer music tour that will take him back to where it all started.
