Jennifer Anniston Sets the Record Straight on Why She Liked Jamie Foxx’s Anti-Semitic Post

Jennifer Anniston explains her side of the story about whether or not she liked Jamie Foxx’s now-deleted anti-Semitic Instagram post.

On August 4, 2023, Jamie Foxx, who had just gotten out of a medical emergency, wrote a message online that was hard to understand but showed what he thought about anti-Semitism.

“They killed this dude name Jesus… what do you think they’ll do to you?” The Day Shift actor wrote it in all caps and put it on both his Instagram grid and his Instagram story.

The story was captured on a picture while it was on the grid, but it has since been taken down. After that, many Jewish groups put it online, which got Jennifer Anniston’s attention as well.

With reference to Foxx’s post, Anniston was also accused of liking his anti-Semitic plan, which was shared by the Friends star.

“This really makes me sick,” she said as she posted a screenshot of Jamie’s post to her Instagram Story and pointed out the viewpoint.

Jennifer continued, “I did not ‘like’ this post on purpose or by accident. And more importantly, I want to be clear to my friends and anyone hurt by this showing up in their fees – I do NOT support any form of antisemitism. I truly don’t tolerate HATE of any kind. Period.”

Even though the host of The Morning Show admits that Jamie’s message could be taken that way, it seems like she was more worried about the other meaning, which called out the people who left Jamie when he was sick.

Jamie’s words make a reference to the “Jewish deicide,” which is the belief that “Jews are collectively responsible for the killing of Jesus,” according to the Times of Israel.
