Ben Affleck seemed to smile a lot more when he was with Jennifer Garner than when he was with his wife Jennifer Lopez, who usually makes him look sad.

On Thursday, August 3, 2023, Garner and Affleck got back together with their three kids in Florence, Italy. Lopez was not there.

The Gone Girl star came in on a private jet, and when his 11-year-old son Samuel ran to meet him on the tarmac, he opened his arms wide. The multitalented artist was then met by his 17-year-old daughter Violet and 14-year-old daughter Seraphina.

Affleck then walked over to his ex-wife, who was also smiling, and wrapped his arms around her. The couple, who were married from 2005 to 2018, had an “anger-filled conversation” for about 30 minutes before they hugged and said goodbye, according to Page Six.

Garner went on her own trip, but her three children went with their father.

The director of Air had just spent the weekend with the musician from On the Floor in Southampton, New York. He seemed to be in a good mood after seeing his family again.

The star has gone viral before because he sometimes looks angry and frustrated, especially when he is with Lopez at public events.

Affleck became a joke when he looked bored at the 2023 Grammys and his partner was said to have fought with him during the event.

Also, Lopez and Affleck got a lot of bad press when a clip of him “slamming” her door went viral on TikTok a day before the opening of the singer’s new movie, Mother.

Even so, Lopez has talked about her blended family in many talks in a positive way.
