The news that Taylor Swift and her long-term boyfriend Joe Alwyn had broken up after six years left her legion of fans reeling over the weekend.

The Grammy-winning singer is known for a lot of things besides her top-charting music. Jennifer Lawrence, an A-list actress, seems to be a member of her “girl squad.”

The Things report that J. Law allegedly tried to introduce the Lavender Haze singer to her co-star Bradley Cooper, who was also a singer at the time.

A close source for Radar Online says that Cooper and Swift almost started dating in 2013. But Cooper seemed to have other plans at the time, so he politely turned down the offer.

“First of all, her reputation precedes her. Bradley is very wary of dating someone who is a bit of a serial dater like Taylor. He thinks she’s far too young for him and wants to date someone his own age, not 16-years younger, because he’s ready for something serious,” the insider said.
