Jenny Jones, Age 43, Gives Birth to Her First Child


Jenny Jones, an Olympic snowboarder, became a mother for the first time at the age of 43. She and her boyfriend, Dan Haines, had a boy.

The happy parents told everyone that their son’s name will be Wilbur Jones-Haines, which is a unique and important name.

Wednesday, the sports star told her fans some good news and posted pictures of her new baby on Instagram.

In one shot, Jenny seems happy to be holding the little boy with the fair hair.

Metro says that in another cute picture, the child looks like she is sleeping happily on her mother’s chest.

She wrote “Wilbur Jones-Haines 8lbs 3oz…so in love x” as the post’s description.

“Over the moon to have Dan by my side through such a powerful experience as we brought our beautiful baby boy into the world x”

The Ski Sunday host said she was going to have a baby in March, and her partner said they were ready with all the hugs.

In the comment area, the sports star’s friends and fans left lots of love and congratulations.

“Jenny!” wrote one. “He is just right. You did so well! I hope the pain isn’t too bad. Xx”

Olympian Chemmy Alcott said, “You were made for this JJ, and Dan must be sooo stoked to have a lad! Biggest hugs. Here if you need anything xx.”

Jenny won the United Kingdom’s bronze medal in the first-ever women’s slopestyle competition in 2014.
