Jevon Terance, an international fashion designer and owner of Jevon Terance Fashion Line, 625 Broadway in downtown Lorain, is headed to the bridges.
Terance will present his latest fashion show called Bridge the Gap from 5-8 p.m., June 9, on the Charles Berry Bascule Bridge in Lorain, according to a news release.
Terance will reveal his latest collection at the event.
“This year, we want to bring a new vision to Lorain by providing guests with another unconventional fashion show location, the Bascule Bridge,” Terance said in the release. “I’m working to put Lorain on a pedestal it deserves by showcasing the beauty we have in Lorain.
“This collection is about bridging the gap to take chances.”
Tickets will include admission to the show and a post-event reception with hors d’oeuvres on the roof top at the Ariel Broadway Hotel, 301 Broadway.
Terance is a life-long resident of Lorain.
Founded in the year 2007 by its namesake, the Jevon Terance Fashion Line grew from a passionate hobby to a recognizable brand, the release said.
Terance became interested in designing at a young age due to his passion for sneakers.
His love for design continued to expand which developed into designing and creating clothes for men and women, according to the release.
The main focus of the Jevon Terance Fashion Line is to inspire people to be who they are, the release said.
Fashion wise, the line is focused on every day wear, but Terance also creates high fashion pieces.
Between 2018 and 2022, Terance participated in nine fashion shows across four seasons during New York Fashion Week.
In 2015, Terance participated in Paris Fashion Week to showcase his collection on the Champs Elysées.
Terance also has produced over 20 fashion shows.
His collection is inspired by jazz and the Jordan 17 sneaker in alignment with Terance’s 17-year anniversary, according to the release.
