Jimin Is the Only K-Pop Soloist to Stay in the UK Top 40 for Three Weeks


Jimin of BTS is the first K-pop soloist to spend three consecutive weeks inside the Top 40 of the UK Singles Chart. On March 24th, he released his first solo album, Face, which featured the single “Like Crazy.”

In March, with the release of Like Crazy, he made history by becoming the first K-pop solo artist to enter the Top 30 of the UK Singles Chart. The following week, on April 14th, the chart showed that Jimin had stayed in the Top 40 for a third week running, this time at No. 38.

Furthermore, he spent a third week in the top five of both the Official Singles Sales Chart and the Official Singles Downloads Chart.
