As they go through their messy divorce and custody fight, Joe Jonas wants to get back on good terms with his ex-wife Sophie Turner.
The 34-year-old singer from Cake by the Ocean and the 27-year-old actor from Game of Thrones started their therapy in New York City on Wednesday.
Page Six said that a source said that the Jonas Brothers want to get along with Turner now that their custody battle over their two girls, Willa, 3, and Delphine, 1, has gotten worse.
An insider said, “Joe is committed to making it work with Sophie in mediation and doesn’t want to put up a fight — as long as they can come to a fair agreement on the kids.”
Turner sued the musician for keeping their girls against their will and accusing him of keeping their passports. This led to the mediation. She said that Jonas wouldn’t let them go back to England, which the two of them had agreed would be their “forever home” before they broke up.
Documents filed in New York say that a few days later, the two made a temporary deal to keep their two girls in New York City.
Their lawyers say that the meetings will last four days and will help them come up with a plan for raising the two kids together.
