Joe Jonas bought Nathan Fielder a drink, and he returned something quite unexpected, which astonished the singer.

On Saturday, the Jonas Brothers vocalist, 34, narrated the event on Instagram, recounting his amusing encounter with the Nathan for Your Eyes star, 40, at Donna’s restaurant in Los Angeles.

“So last night, I noticed Nathan Fielder was at the same restaurant I was having dinner at in L.A,” Jonas said, referring to the Italian eatery.

Wanting to send Fielder a drink, Jonas made the request to the waitress, who commented that Jonas had outstanding taste, validating the musician and his “love of all things Nathan Fielder.”

The waiter complied and returned something from Fielder for Jonas.

“And he sent back, as a thank you, mayonnaise,” Jonas recalled amusingly, his lips pursed into a naughty grin.

As proof, the former Disney star shared a photo of the aforementioned mayonnaise container before the article was abruptly and humorously chopped short.

Fans appeared to love the casual story time approach that Jonas appears to have lately embraced, with one fan commenting, “So this is what it’s like to facetime you.”
