Johnny Depp Manages to Play Through an Ankle Injury in Order to Do His Boston Show

Johnny Depp had a major ankle injury, but that didn’t stop him from coming back to the stage in Boston after a long break.

Depp was now desperate to get back into the entertainment business, so he used a cane to help him perform with his band, The Hollywood Vampires, at a gig in Boston.

Pictures of the 60-year-old actor arriving at the show with a cane in one hand and dressed like a gentleman are going viral on the internet.

He wore a too big jacket, a checkered button-down shirt, and a white t-shirt. He looked as classy as ever.

He wore black pants with his shirt and a fancy hat to finish his look. He also wore layered bracelets and a cool pair of sunglasses that went great with the rest of his outfit.

After hurting his ankle on May 29, Depp put off three US tour stops. An accident happened just before the Pirates of the Caribbean actor was about to start touring with his band, The Hollywood Vampires. This meant that the shows had to be moved.

His band said, “We are sad to share that the Hollywood Vampires will be rescheduling our three US tour dates this coming week.”

The members of Johnny Depp’s band, including Joe Perry, Alice Cooper, and Tommy Henriksen, posted about his injury on their social media pages.

“Johnny has sustained a painful injury to his ankle following his recent appearances and has been advised by his doctor not to travel,” they wrote.

“He is devastated by this turn of events, but looks forward to resting up so all four Vampires can bring their absolute best to the tour in Europe,” they said.

Johnny Depp didn’t let his injury stop him from making a comeback. His career had gone downhill because of the defamation case his ex-wife, Amber Heard, filed against him. Even though he hurt his leg, he played a show with his band in Romania on June 8 while wearing a boot.
