Lily-Rose Depp, daughter of Johnny Depp, talked about how her controversial part in the new TV show Britney Spears inspired the Idol.

She said that the Hold Me Closer singer was always on her mind as she worked on herself to get ready for the part.

Lily-Rose told E! News, “There was so much inspiration to be drawn from somebody like Britney Spears, who I ador, and all of the other incredible pop icons of our time.”

This comes after she put an end to rumors that her new drama series would be based on the life of a pop star.

The actor and model talked to Extra about how her part in the explicit drama is being compared to that of the Oops!… I Did It Again singer.

“No, it’s not based on anyone in particular… We’re not trying to tell anyone else’s story, but create one of our own,” she said.

“This is a fictional character and fictional story,” the Yoga Hosers singer said.
