Jon Bon Jovi will play two parts in son Jake’s upcoming wedding to Millie Bobby Brown.

The 61-year-old singer announced that, in addition to his position as father, he will be the chosen vocalist at the wedding.

During an appearance on the red carpet of the 2024 MusiCares Person of the Year gala on Friday, Jon was asked if he plans to perform at his son’s wedding, to which he replied, “Yes!”

The Stranger Things star announced her engagement to 21-year-old Jake in April 2023, following two years of dating.

Millie has already spoken about her wedding plans, citing a wish for a “intimate” ceremony to commemorate the big day.

Speaking with Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager on Today, the actress stated why she does not want her soon-to-be father-in-law to perform at their wedding.

“I think the man needs a break, he doesn’t stop. He’s always doing tennis or singing lessons,” she explained.

“He can just be the father of the groom!” Jenna added.

Millie said, “Exactly. That would be wild. I am not sure if he will be able to do precisely that.”
