Jungkook of BTS Reaches a Significant Milestone While Serving in the Military

Jungkook of BTS claimed a significant success after his songs from his debut album Golden trended in the Top 40 of the Billboard 200 chart for five weeks in a row.

The famed singer, who has begun his mandatory military service, is the first Korean solo musician to reach this significant milestone.

Earlier in November, the first album of the Seven singer surpassed Taylor Swift’s 1989 (Taylor’s Version) on the global sales chart.

According to United World Chart, the youngest member of BTS achieved this feat with a huge 951,000 total equivalent album sales.

Furthermore, Jungkook’s album track Seven received one billion Spotify streams in October, beating the previous record set by Miley Cyrus’ classic song Flowers.

Jungkook wrote a touching statement for his admirers around the world ahead of his military service, revealing that he will start on a new journey this month.

“As I deliver this news, on one hand, my heart feels heavy but on the other hand, my heart warms up the precious memories with our ARMYs coming to my mind,” he said in a statement.

Jungkook said, “I’ll miss you deeply while waiting for the day we meet again and share new stories.”
