Justin Timberlake Is ‘Reinvigorated’ Despite Criticism from Britney Spears Followers

Justin Timberlake is not letting Britney Spears drag him down, as he has released new songs in a long time.

The SexyBack singer, who released his debut single, Selfish, on Thursday, faced some competition when his ex-girlfriend’s 2011 song of the same name resurfaced on the charts.

The song is from his upcoming sixth studio album, Everything I Thought It Was.

The hostility, however, does not disturb the former *NSYNC member. According to sources close to the musician, he is ‘not letting them rain on his parade.’

Timberlake has faced controversy after Spears’ bombshell biography, The Woman In Me, was released in October 2023.

In a surprising admission, the Toxic singer revealed that she had an abortion as a teenager while dating Timberlake. She also brought up her ex-boyfriend’s alleged infidelity during their three-year relationship.

“He’s very happy to be performing again and working on new music,” a source told the newspaper. “He’s all about having a good time right now,” according to a source who recently spent time with him.

Previously, reports claimed that the response from Spears’ book was taking its toll on him, but the musician is now feeling well and focused.

“He’s feeling reinvigorated and is doing what he loves, making the music he loves to create. He’s never felt better,” another person stated.
