Justin Timberlake Was ‘Forced to Confront’ Britney Spears Over Claims in Her Book

After reading Britney Spears’s open and honest book The Woman In Me, which came out today, Justin Timberlake was caught off guard.

People got a copy of an interview where the Toxic singer said that the *NSYNC singer told her to have an abortion when she got pregnant while they were dating.

For those who don’t know, Spears and Timberlake were together from 1999 to 2002.

A source told The Sun that the musician “owns who he was when he and Britney were together,” but that he had “closed this chapter in his life and now Britney is putting it in front of everybody again.”

“This book is a nightmare for him because of how it throws the whole family into chaos. The timing stings just as much as the revelation itself,” they said next.

“He’s not in denial about it, but to him, this was a million years ago. I don’t think Justin’s going to publicly dispute any of Britney’s claims, just because that isn’t his style. But he might be forced to by circumstance,” the insider said.

Even though people are interested in the Cry Me A River singer’s long-term relationship again, he wants to keep his attention on his family, which includes his wife Jessica Biel and their two boys, Silas, 8, and Phineas, 3.
