COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – A juvenile was taken to the hospital Tuesday morning after they were hit by a car in Colorado Springs.

Police are reporting they took the call at about 8 a.m. in the area of Chelton Road and Constitution Avenue, a few blocks south of Palmer Park. Police don’t believe the juvenile had life-threatening injuries and the driver of the car remained at the scene.

Last time 11 News checked in with police, some lanes were still closed in the area at about 10:45 a.m. for the investigation.
