
LANHAM, Md. (7News) — A boy was hospitalized Saturday afternoon after allegedly stealing a car and crashing it in Lanham, Maryland, police said.
At approximately 12:15 p.m., Prince George’s County police officers received a call for a suspicious vehicle in the 7000 block of Presley Road. When officers arrived at the scene, they observed a crash in the area of Good Luck Road and 96th Avenue.

Police discovered one of the cars involved in the crash was stolen.
A juvenile male from the stolen car was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, according to police. A woman from another car involved in the crash was also hospitalized. Her condition is unknown, police explained.
Police also reportedly saw other people flee from the stolen vehicle. Detectives are continuing to investigate the incident to determine how many others were involved and to identify them.
