K-Pop Group Brave Girls Announce a Name Change


After signing with a new agency, the K-pop group Brave Girls has officially changed their name. According to a story from Edaily that came out on May 3rd, their new name is BB Girls.

After the story came out, their new company, Warner Music Korea, confirmed the news in a short statement: “Brave Girls will continue their activities and change their team name to BB GIRLS.”

Brave Girls, who are now known as BB Girls, first came out in 2011. In 2016, the group was rebuilt with new members from the 4th generation. After leaving their old management company, Brave Entertainment, on April 27th, they signed an exclusive deal with Warner Music Korea.

Minyoung, a group member, hinted at new music after they announced their new relationship. He wrote, “We are preparing intending to greet fans in the soon-approaching 2023 summer, and we will greet everyone with even better music and new sides of us. I am so grateful to the many fans who were sad and waited for news of us following the report of our disbandment.”
