Kaley Cuoco and Tom Pelphrey hold their young daughter Matilda to very different standards.
In fact, the Big Bang Theory star calls her kid a “genius,” whereas the Ozark actor thinks she’s just a babbling baby.
Cuoco revealed on Monday’s broadcast of The Jennifer Hudson Show that her nine-month-old daughter Matilda has already exhibited outstanding cognitive skills.
“She’s so precious, you guys,” the new mum, who has been documenting Matilda’s every milestone on social media, said.
Cuoco went on, “She is so beyond, she just started saying, ‘uh oh’ and it’s the funniest thing. I’m convinced that she says it at the correct time, like something will drop and she’ll hear something on TV and goes, ‘uh oh.’”
Pelphrey, Matilda’s baby daddy, isn’t persuaded that she “knows what [‘uh oh’] means,” claiming that their kid “says that all day long” and that it’s completely random.
Pelphrey’s opinion, however, does not dissuade Cuoco, who claims that Matilda inherited “the ‘uh oh’, genius, and big eyes” from her mother.
She also stated that Matilda enjoys dancing to The Big Bang Theory theme tune, as proven by a video of her clapping her hands and bouncing on a couch while the music played.
Cuoco, 38, and Pelphrey, 41, who have been romantically together since 2022, welcomed Matilda on March 30, 2023.
