Kanye West and his new wife Bianca Censori’s attitude to living a quieter life is beloved by the former’s children.

West’s ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, with whom he shares four children, North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm, said on a recent episode of The Kardashians Season 4, that their oldest chooses to live with her father owing to his modest living surroundings.

“North, she’ll go to her dad’s, she’ll be like, ‘Dad is the best. He has it all figured out,’” the SKIMS mogul informed Kourtney Kardashian over the phone.

She went on to say that the Donda rapper has refused to hire a nanny, chef, or even security since leaving the former couple’s Calabasas house.

“‘He doesn’t have a nanny. He doesn’t have a chef. He doesn’t have security. He lives in an apartment.’ And she’ll start crying, ‘Why don’t you have an apartment? I can’t believe we don’t have an apartment,’” she says. Kim went on, detailing her tumultuous week with the 10-year-old.

Kim and Kanye finalized their divorce in November 2022, after a year-long struggle.

The designer mogul has subsequently moved on with Censori, his former Yeezy staffer, by marrying her the following month.
