Kanye West allegedly made $25 million on the first day that Yeezy was sold.

A Kanye West-themed Instagram account called @Kanyewestaurant_ said that more than 682,300 pairs of sneakers were sold, which would mean that Kanye West made $25 million.

DigitalMusicNews says that West is due 11 percent of each sale of a Yeezy product, so he will make more than $140 million from the sales.

But it’s important to note that the real number of sales may be different from what was said, since official records have not been made public.

Adidas broke up with a controversial hip-hop star last October because of his antisemitic comments.

But the company had a lot of unsold Yeezys that were worth more than $1 billion and piled up everywhere.

But after much back and forth, the German shoemaker chose to sell the shoes and give some of the money to anti-hate groups like the Anti-Defamation League and the Philonise & Keeta Floyd Institute for Social Change.

Also, Nike told Adidas about West’s red flags, but Adidas ignored the warnings and kept working with the controversial rapper.
