Kanye West Said to Make Adidas Relevant

Kanye West’s decision to open his new Yeezy office in Los Angeles right next to the Adidas office has fans praising his return.

A West fan site called Donda Times said that the new office is on Melrose Avenue between Laurel and North Edinburgh Streets in Los Angeles.

Also, the 45-year-old’s office is only a hairdresser’s shop away from the tower of the clothing giant.

The 45-year-old worked with the German shoemakers under the Yeezy brand from 2013 to 2015 when their shoes were first released.

The fashion mogul’s apparent dig at the brand prompts numerous social media users to comment on the news.

After Ye went on an anti-Semitic rant in October, the shoe company cut ties with him.

Adidas issued the following statement when it severed connections with the fashion mogul: “Adidas does not tolerate antisemitism and any other sort of hate speech.”

Adidas also said that the piles of unsold Yeezy would cost the company an extra €500 million in profits by 2023 if they weren’t “repurposed.”

Adidas’ CEO Bjrn Gulden has said in the past that cutting ties with Kanye West’s Yeezy brand is “hurting” the business.

The head of the German company said, “The loss of Yeezy is “of course, hurting us.” Sales in North America fell by 20% after Yeezy left the company.

The clothing giant cut sales in the first quarter of 2023 after Yeezy lost €400 million.

In the meantime, BBC News said that the company’s total sales dropped by 1%.
