Kanye West’s Mask-Wearing Raises Anti-Terrorism Law Worries in Italy

Kanye West may have broken the law in Italy by always wearing a face mask while he and his wife, Bianca Censori, were on a long trip there.

Italian anti-terror and public order laws say that it is illegal to wear things that make it hard to identify yourself. If you do, you could be fined up to 2,000 Euros.

During their six-week trip to Italy, the controversial artist was seen wearing a mask in Venice, Florence, and, most recently, Milan, where they went to Fashion Week.

After what happened on a water cab last month, officials in Venice have already started to look into Kanye and Bianca.

Bianca was captured kneeling in front of Kanye in a way that showed off her bare buttocks. This caused a lot of controversy.

During their time in Italy, they are now looking into the legal consequences of both the mask-wearing and the water taxi episode.

Now, it has come to light that Kanye may be the subject of a more in-depth probe. He may have broken Italian law 533, which was put in place in 1977 to stop domestic terrorism.
