Katy Perry is very happy about the new relationship that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are starting.
The famous couple went on a date in New York City on October 14. Perry, 38, said two words about the event.
Swift, 33, and Kelce, 34, were seen holding hands in pictures that went viral on social media very quickly. Perry said something about the photos in question in the comments part of a Vogue Instagram post.
“I ship,” she wrote on October 15, Sunday.
Even though Perry’s response got more than 14,000 “likes” on the site, Swift fans will remember that things weren’t always good between the pop singers.
While talking to Rolling Stone in 2014, Swift said that her hit song “Bad Blood” wasn’t about a breakup but about another artist who “tried to sabotage an entire arena tour.”
However, Swift did not name anyone at the time, but most people thought Perry was to blame. (Many of the dancers on Swift’s Red tour used to dance for Perry; they left Swift’s tour in 2013 to join Perry’s Prismatic tour.)
Perry responded to the story in what seemed to be a tweet: “Watch out for the Regina George in sheep’s clothing.”
In interviews in 2015, Swift said over and over that she didn’t want to talk about the scandal and didn’t even mention Perry by name.
She told GQ, “I never said anything that would point a finger in the specific direction of one specific person, and I can sleep at night knowing that.”
