Keke Palmer has accepted to peace negotiations with baby daddy Darius Jackson after claiming in an explosive lawsuit that he physically and emotionally abused her during their now-terminated relationship.
When Palmer, 30, was given a temporary domestic violence restraining order against her ex-boyfriend, as well as temporary custody of their 10-month-old baby, Leodis, a court hearing date was scheduled for December 5.
However, according to court documents acquired by Page Six, the parties began negotiating on Wednesday, November 29, with Palmer filing to postpone the court date until they resolved their difficulties in mediation.
They also agreed to continue their discussions at a “mutually agreeable date” yet to be established.
In the meanwhile, the parties “agree that all orders contained in the Temporary Restraining Order issued on November 9, 2023, shall remain in full force and effect until the hearing.”
Furthermore, an insider told the site that while the mediations are still ongoing, Palmer’s restraining order “has NOT been dropped” and will not be. Furthermore, police investigations are still ongoing.
Palmer’s main motivation for making the decision was that she was “concerned about her privacy, Leo’s privacy, and the privacy of her family…”
