Kochi: The Invest Kerala pavilion by the Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation (KSIDC) has made its debut at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 in New Delhi, showcasing the southern state’s thriving automotive technology ecosystem on a global stage. The 117 sq m pavilion at the Nasscom Mobility Tech Zone features four leading Kerala-based companies — Acsia Technologies, Hykon India, chargeMOD, and C-Electric Drives — under the Invest Kerala banner.
The pavilion is themed “Kerala: The Global Automotive Technology Hub for OEMs and Tier-1s.”
The companies are presenting cutting-edge products and solutions across diverse technology sectors, including Android Automotive, AI/ML, electric powertrains, battery energy storage systems, lithium batteries, and EV charging solutions.
The Technopark-based Acsia, which is a delivery partner for the world’s leading OEMs & Tier 1s, is at the expo to showcase its software solutions for digital cockpits, e-mobility and telematics. There is a live demo LiLA Copilot — Acsia’s AI/ML-powered Developer Assistant enabling smart defect management and document analysis.
“The State Department of Industries is walking the talk in showcasing our deep expertise in cutting-edge automotive domains and our skilled engineering talent pool capable of serving the global automotive industry. Such collaborations are instrumental in positioning Kerala as a global automotive technology hub,” Acsia Technologies founder & CEO Jijimon Chandran, also the CII Thiruvananthapuram Zone chair, said.
Thiruvananthapuram-based energy tech start-up chargeMOD, a leading provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions across the country, views the expo for its expansion and fosters partnerships that accelerate India’s transition to electric mobility. M Ramanunni, co-founder and CEO of chargeMOD, echoed Chandran’s views saying such collaborations are crucial in driving forward India’s transition to sustainable and efficient transportation solutions.
With a network of over 3707 charging stations across the country (707 + DC fast chargers and 3000+ AC chargers) and customer support in six languages, chargeMOD is now expanding its service in Nepal with 40 plus chargers as well.
“This expo showcases remarkable futuristic products and vehicles that offer innovative solutions for reducing the carbon footprint, ensuring a sustainable future for generations to come,” said Ajish T G, DGM, Research & Development at Hykon India Ltd. Hykon is a power electronics company with a presence of 33 years in the market.
Speaking about the event, Bavil Varghese, Co-founder and CEO of C Electric Automotive Drives Pvt. Ltd, a leading provider of innovative motor controllers for 2W, 3W, and light commercial vehicles, asserts that Bharat Mobility 2025 is more than an event; it’s a call to action for all stakeholders in the EV ecosystem.
The Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation has supported this initiative to spotlight Kerala’s automotive technology companies at Bharat Mobility. It also aims to promote the upcoming Kerala Automotive Technology Summit (KATS) 2025, organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Kerala in association with KSIDC. The summit is scheduled for February 6, 2025, at the Hyatt Regency, Thiruvananthapuram.
