Kare Starnes has combined her interests in botany and environmental science to create a vibrant ecosystem in her backyard with ponds, animals, and more than 1,100 types of daylillies.

On June 13-14, Starnes’ garden will be one of the three that will be featured during the during the American Daylily Society Region 15 summer meeting. Region 15 of the American Daylily Society includes North Carolina and South Carolina.
