Senior leadership to announce expanded global electrification strategy.
Kia Corporation will unveil its expanded global EV strategy and three new electric models on February 27 at the Tarraco Arena in Tarragona, Spain, during the 2025 Kia EV Day. The event follows the first Kia EV Day, held in Korea in 2023, and will spotlight Kia’s latest advancements in sustainable mobility.

The 2025 Kia EV Day will mark the global debut of the Kia EV4, the Kia PV5, and the Concept EV2. The Kia EV4, previously revealed in concept form at the 2023 event, returns as a production model. The Kia PV5, a dedicated Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) model, will be shown following its concept debut at CES 2024. Kia will also introduce the Concept EV2, a compact EV expanding the company’s dedicated EV lineup.
Kia’s PBV strategy will be a key focus during the event. The company will present its PBV business vision, lineup, and launch plans centered on the Kia PV5. The PV5, built on a dedicated “skateboard” electric platform, is designed to support multiple body configurations for diverse commercial and business needs. Kia’s modular PBV platform will enable flexibility in vehicle design to meet various industry requirements. We got to see the WKNDR concept at the recent Montreal auto show.
