Kim Kardashian Has Morticia Addams Moment at Balenciaga Show During Paris Fashion Week

Move over, Jenna Ortega — there’s another A-lister channeling the Addams family.

Kim Kardashian stepped out to the Balenciaga show at Paris Fashion Week on Sunday, and her monochrome black look conjured similar vibes to one of the world’s favorite fictional characters, Morticia Addams.

Wearing a black lace Balenciaga dress with a long train and an open back and her hair styled in a sleek high ponytail, Kardashian, 43, evoked the infamous matriarch in strides.

Her black sheer dress also featured one of the brand’s tags hanging from it. That unexpected detail initially confused some people, before it soon became evident that it was just another purposeful element from Balenciaga creative director Demna, as several pieces featured in the ensuing runway show also had dangling tags.

“It’s always @balenciaga for me 🖤,” Kardashian wrote on her Instagram Story as she reshared a video of her posing for photographers before the show. She also shared several photos from the runway show itself, one of which she wrote “WOW” over.

Sunday’s Balenciaga event marked Kardashian’s first Paris Fashion Week appearance this year, but was just the latest in a string of fashion-forward moments from the SKIMS founder.

Last week, she switched things up as she went back to icy blonde hair and was spotted debuting the new look while driving her electric pickup truck, the Tesla Cybertruck, in Beverly Hills.

It was a drastic change from what she had previously been seen rocking — which was her signature dark brunette look at the 2024 Super Bowl in Las Vegas.

Her hair wasn’t the only thing on display at football’s big weekend, though, as she posed in a plunging brown cowl neck top with matching brown flared pants and a black cowboy hat by Kemo Sabe at Michael Rubin’s Fanatics Super Bowl party the day before the game.

On game day, she was back to her roots as she arrived at Allegiant Stadium wearing a black-and-green oversized Balenciaga bomber. Her attendance at the Super Bowl came after half-time performer Usher was announced as the new face of her loungewear, shapewear and underwear brand.

The “U Got It Bad” singer, 45, modeled two pieces from Kardashian’s existing menswear collections, including two sets of boxers. He called the experience both “humbling” and a “full-circle moment.”

“Kim’s been a longtime friend of mine who’s always been so supportive of my work, so the opportunity to collaborate together on a campaign that supports both of our highly anticipated launches made total sense,” he said in a press release.
