KINGSTON, N.Y. — Two drivers were injured in a three-car crash on Schwenk Drive near the Kingston Plaza, city police said Friday.
At about 10 a.m. Thursday, May 23, a Chevy pickup driven by Brandon Bishop, 21, of Catskill was traveling from Fair Street toward the Plaza when it was struck by a Ford Suburban driven by Christine Reidy, 72, of Tillson, on Schwenk Drive. Reidy was headed toward Washington Avenue, Lt. Patrick Buono said in an email.
A Hyundai sedan driven by Susan Taylor, 60, of Lebanon, Pennsylvania, was stopped at the traffic light exiting the Plaza onto Schwenk Drive and the force of the collision pushed Reidy’s vehicle into Taylor’s sedan.
Bishop complained of shoulder and arm pain and was taken to HealthAlliance Hospital by the Kingston Fire Department. Taylor, who complained of elbow, lower arm and hand pain, was also taken by ambulance to HealthAlliance Hospital, Buono said.
No tickets were issued and the crash remains under investigation, he said.
