
Kongsberg Automotive (KA), a global leader in automotive technology, has officially inaugurated its new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Faridabad, India. This strategic relocation from its previous site in the same region underscores KA’s commitment to enhancing production capabilities and strengthening its presence in the Indian market.
The newly established plant spans approximately 6,947 square meters, marking a significant expansion from the earlier 5,946-square-meter facility. This upgrade is designed to bolster the production of Drive Control Systems (DCS) products, including cable gear shifters, steering columns, shift-by-wire shifters, and shift towers. By maintaining proximity to its customer base and workforce, KA aims to ensure business continuity and operational efficiency.
