Kourtney Kardashian is determined to keep an arm’s length barrier between her and ex Scott Disick, despite her blossoming relationship with husband Travis Barker.

As a result, the Lemme mogul is compelled to avoid Kardashian-Jenner family gatherings because her children’s father is always present.

Relationship specialist Louella Alderson told the Mirror that Kourtney has “immersed herself” in her husband and their new baby, Rocky 13, leaving little time for family hijinks.

Prior to her marriage, Kourtney had frequent interactions with Scott, with whom she has three children, Mason, Reign, and Penelope, as well as other family members.

Even though her sisters maintained amicable relations with her ex, the television star suffered a significant shift in her priorities.

“It’s possible that Kourtney is simply enjoying the time spent with Travis and their new family dynamic and doesn’t want to be dragged back into any Kardashian drama,” Alderson said in a statement.

“It’s understandable that she may want to distance herself from Scott to avoid any potential tension or awkwardness,” the expert added, noting that Kourtney would “highly unlikely” expect her family to cut ties with Scott.

She went on to say that it’s “important for everyone involved to communicate and respect each other’s boundaries.”
