Kourtney Kardashian has disregarded Travis Barker’s ex-wife Shanna Moakler’s criticism of her relationship with Landon, Alabama, and Atiana, her stepchildren.

A source told US Weekly that the reality television star is not concentrating on any negative energy directed toward her stepchildren.

“Kourtney finds it unfortunate that Shanna has difficulty sustaining her affection for her children. Since she is now their stepmother, they are also Travis’ offspring, and in a sense, hers as well,” a source revealed.

After they wed, Kourtney became a stepmother to Travis and Shanna’s two children, Landon and Alabama. Travis also has a tight relationship with Atiana De La Hoya, the model’s daughter from a previous relationship.

“Kourtney firmly believes in loving their children as much as she loves her own,” the source said. For years, Kourtney has known Travis and Shanna’s children. Thus, Travis and she became even closer because their children were friends and they hung out constantly,” the source said, alluding to Kourtney’s three children with ex-husband Scott Disick, Mason, Penelope, and Reign.

The insider shared, “Kourtney adores Landon, Alabama, and Atiana, and she has nothing but the most positive intentions. She loves them with all her heart and disregards any negative energy directed at her, especially when it comes to what’s best for the children.”

This comes after Shanna criticized Kourtney for caring more about her children than her own, following the release of the happy couple’s Hulu special ‘Til Death Do Us Part, in which Tarvis said, “Kourtney has filled a void for me.”

A fan of the former Miss USA commented on her most recent Instagram photo, “I pray you to receive an enormous apology someday for what was said on that exploitative, money-grabbing circus. “‘He has been through Hell’… ‘Kourtney has filled a void for me’ #parentalalienationawareness.”

Shanna clicked “like” on the comment before responding, “She posts more of my kids than her own lol,” in response to a follower’s observation that Kourtney considers herself a “mother of six.”
