Patrick Anderson, an instructor at LATC and photographer, discussed AI’s role in art and its ethical implications with Ralph. He views AI art generation as a creative outlet but raises concerns about its authenticity and copyright, noting that AI-generated art can only be copyrighted if significantly altered by a human. The discussion will explore whether AI-generated works qualify as “art” and the ethics of using AI to mimic artistic styles or produce written content. They will showcase AI-generated art and promote audience participation to address the opportunities and challenges posed by AI in various industries. Additionally, Patrick mentioned his Facebook page, “PJ AI Creations,” where he shares his AI art.
