The Los Angeles County Department of Arts and Culture is holding the Health Week Summit on June 13, highlighting how the arts can uplift L.A.’s most vulnerable communities, and – through conversations and participatory experiences – explore how the arts are vital to individual and collective healing.

The free summit offers conversations and interactive arts experiences while promoting creative ways to approach health, wellbeing and recovery. It gathers arts practitioners, medical experts, funders, policymakers, re-searchers and acclaimed soprano Renée Fleming – among other notable advocates for the arts in health care.

The 2025 LA County Arts and Health Week Summit is hosted by LA Opera in collaboration with L.A. County Supervisor Hilda L. Solis, 1st District; the Los Angeles County Department of Arts and Culture; Healing Arts – an initiative of the Jameel Arts & Health Lab; and the World Health Organization.
