The Rolling Stones recently said that Lady Gaga is on a new song that will be on their future album, Hackney Diamonds.
“Lady Gaga sings really sweet on [the new song] Sweet Sound of Heaven,” the band’s guitarist Ronnie Wood said in a live-streamed chat with Jimmy Fallon.
Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, two other members of the band, were also there to promote the group video for the song “Angry” from their latest album.
Stones talked about their work with Lady Gaga and the fact that music legend Stevie Wonder is on this new record as a guest.
This is not the first time Gaga and the Stones have worked together. In December 2012, Gaga joined the Stones on stage during a stop on their 50 & Counting tour.
Together, they played the group’s song “Gimme Shelter,” which came out in 1969 and was on the album “Let It Bleed.”
Gaga told Entertainment Weekly in a 2021 interview that she had a lot of new songs coming out soon.
“There’s always music in my heart, in the works. It’s just about [asking], ‘What will it be?’” the singer said at the time.
“I’m not ready to answer that yet,” Gaga said. “But what I will say is that… I’m always thinking about music. It just comes out in different forms.”
On the other hand, the band’s 26th new album, Hackney Diamonds, will come out on October 20.
