Lady Gaga Was Seen Singing for ‘Joker 2’ on the Famous Bronx Steps

We’re seeing double.

This weekend, Lady Gaga was seen singing and dancing in The Bronx on the famous steps that co-star Joaquin Phoenix made even more famous in his first “Joker” movie.

The singer of “Poker Face,” Oscar winner Phoenix, and the director of “Joker: Folie à Deux,” Todd Phillps, were seen on set with the first two in full costume and makeup.

In one sneaky fan’s tweet, people can see and hear the 37-year-old pop star singing and dancing to the top of her lungs as crew members try to hide her from view.

In the video, Gaga also seems to face a group of police officers.

“SHE’S SINGING AND DANCING DOWN THE STAIRS!!!” reads the hilarious social media alert to Gaga’s many Little Monsters.

It’s hard to tell what the singer of “Bad Romance” was singing, but the sound of flashing cameras and fans whispering, “Oh my god!” is clear.

In the first “Joker” movie, Joaquin Phoenix, who plays the title character, dances down the stairs to Gary Glitter’s 1982 hit “Rock and Roll Part 2.” This gave the stairs their first big break.

After the first movie did well, a lot of influential people went to the stairs on West 167th Street to try to recreate the famous scene.

But some of the people who lived in the area did find this funny.

Many neighbors who were upset went on social media to tell people to stay away.

“Please, if you’re reading this and you’re not from around here or have never been to the Bronx (and Yankee Stadium doesn’t count), PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE,” pleaded one local on Twitter.

Gaga, who plays the Joker’s disturbed girlfriend Harley Quinn, was also spotted filming at the New York County Supreme Court in lower Manhattan, fully costumed and made up.

In another picture of the singer-turned-actor, she and Phoenix are standing next to each other. They are both fully made up, and Gaga has shorter blonde hair.
