Kourtney Kardashian is busting the idea that stepmothers are bad.
Landon Asher Barker gave the Kardashians star praise. She is grandmother to Travis Barker’s three kids from his first marriage to Shanna Moakler.
Landon, who wants to be a singer like his dad, told People Magazine how he dealt with a very hard year that included drinking too much, having mental health problems, and his dad having to go to the hospital.
The 20-year-old singer gushed, “She’s great. She’s super supportive as well, and brings a lot of love and support to me and my siblings.”
Landon wrote the words for Machine Gun Kelly’s song “Die in California.” He also called Kourtney and her kids with ex-spouse Scott Disick “family” and introduced his girlfriend, TikTok star Charli D’Amelio.
In the same way, the oldest Kardashian sister accepted Landon and his sisters, Atiana and Alabama, with open arms when she married their father last year, even though his ex-wife seemed to dislike them.
Moakley made fun of Kourtney earlier this year for posting “more of my kids than her own.” Kourtney took the high road and told her fans to “spread love and positivity.”
In fact, the founder of Poosh often shows her love for her stepchildren on social media. For example, she recently wished Landon a happy 20th birthday and promoted his birthday event.
Barker’s two girls also showed love to Kourtney, who is expecting her first child with the Blink 182 drummer.
Alabama told Kourtney on her April birthday that she was “the best stepmom” and that she has “such a beautiful aura, I wouldn’t want another step mom.”
