Marcus Jordan, Larsa Pippen’s athlete boyfriend, recently declared that he is not “looking to be a secondary parent” to the reality star’s children in a confessional with the Real Housewives of Miami alum.
The 33-year-old basketball player provided an intimate look into his relationship with the American TV personality’s children, stating that he wants to be “more of a support system,” as he is “for Larsa.”
Larsa has four children with ex-husband Scottie Pippen: daughter Sophia (14), sons Justin (18), Preston (21) and Scotty Jr. (22).
Marcus went on to say that he wants to “support her and the kids.”
This disclosure came after the 49-year-old businesswoman requested her daughter Sophia’s permission for Marcus to join them for dinner, and the youngest Pippen approved of her mother’s partner, stating, “He’s so much fun.”
Jordan stated that he is attempting to be a friend to his girlfriend’s children “instead of another parent figure.”
Larsa and Marcus made their romance official with an Instagram post in January 2023.
Marcus has since built a close relationship with both Larsa and her children.
The TV celebrity and Scottie’s divorce was formalised on December 15, 2021. According to US Weekly, all difficulties were settled amicably.
