Lauren Sanchez’s First Film ‘Descends into Chaos’

It has been said that Lauren Sanchez, who is married to Jeff Bezos, made her first movie, The Golden Door, which was an independent film.

But Sanchez, 53, has been accused of running a crazy shoot that led to the firing of the director and several crew members.

Reports say that Sanchez paid for the psychological thriller on his own, which starred Daniella Kertesz, Megalyn Echikunwoke, and Bezos’ daughter, who was also a teenager at the time.

Last summer, the 20-day shoot in Topanga, California, cost $2 million and was put together by Sanchez’s company, Adventure & Fellowship.

But sources close to the production told Puck News on Monday that Sanchez was an “infrequent and, to some, unwelcome presence on set.” They also said that she and Bezos did show up, though she did so more than he did. They also said that Bezos’s teenage daughter worked on the project as an intern and had a small part in the movie.

According to the Puck report, Sanchez is a “piece of work” in the “over-the-top Beverly Hills striver” sense of the phrase.

The news outlet was told by an anonymous source that Sanchez, despite the heat and poor craft services, insisted on having her helicopter land on set and that she had a “relatively luxurious” trailer.

As the cast and crew worried about basic safety rules, more chaos broke out behind the scenes. Insiders said that after Bezos came to visit, Sanchez was convinced that the movie needed a new approach. This worried the cast because many scenes had already been filmed. She went back to the writers and made changes, which made key “crewmembers throw up their hands and quit,” said the source.
