Law enforcement mental health grant


The Little Falls Police Department (LFPD) sought council approval to apply for a grant from the US Department of Justice called the Law Enforcement Mental Health and Wellness Act grant.

This is a two-year grant offering up to $32,000. The funds would be used to improve mental health and wellness services for officers through training of peer support teams, family resources, suicide prevention programs, and other wellness initiatives.
