Arts Services Inc. Press Release

The annual “Lawyers for the Arts” fundraiser once again proved that the legal community’s talents extend beyond the courtroom, raising a record-breaking $51,290.73 in net proceeds to support Arts Services Inc.’s “Give for Greatness” grant program.

Held on Saturday, March 8, at THE STAGE in Williamsville, this electrifying event showcased the musical talents of Western New York’s legal professionals while honoring the region’s vibrant arts and culture scene.

With 629 attendees throughout the afternoon, the venue was alive with energy as legal professionals took the stage, trading in case files for guitars, microphones and drumsticks. The generosity of the community was on full display, with a 50/50 raffle raising an additional $720, which was graciously donated back to ASI by the winner.

The “Give for Greatness” program provides critical general operating funds to small and micro arts and culture organizations across Western New York. These unrestricted grants allow nonprofit arts groups to sustain their programming, reach broader audiences, and continue enriching the community through the arts.

A lasting impact

“ ‘Lawyers for the Arts’ continues to be one of our most exciting and impactful events of the year,” said Jen Swan-Kilpatrick, executive director of ASI. “The overwhelming support we’ve received from the legal community ensures that the creative spirit of Western New York remains strong. These funds will go directly toward supporting micro and small arts organizations that make a difference in our region.”

As “Lawyers for the Arts” grows each year, ASI looks forward to continuing this incredible tradition of blending legal expertise with artistic passion. Stay tuned for details on next year’s event and how you can get involved in supporting arts and culture in Western New York.
