With their new album, “Unforgiven,” the K-pop girl group Le Sserafim had the best first-day sales of any female K-pop act. The digital version of the record came out on May 1, and more than a million copies were sold on the first day.

To be more exact, Hanteo Chart says that they sold a total of 1,024,034 pieces. Only one other female act, girl group Blackpink with their 2022 comeback Born Pink, sold more than a million copies on the first day.

If you count male K-pop groups, Le Sserafim is the fifth best-selling group on the first day, after BTS, Stray Kids, Seventeen, and TXT. Since their first hit song, “Fearless,” came out, the group has been breaking records and topping charts all the time.
